BARNS COURTNEY
So, I am literally writing this as quickly as my fingers allow, whilst also making a thousand mistakes per sentence. The reason will become clear very soon, but I just have to get this post out before Barns Courtney takes the world by storm - because he will - and it's only a matter of days or weeks - I highly doubt it will be months, but sometimes things never go as you'd expect - before this happens.
There's not much I can say on British musician Barns Courtney - as I can't seem to find much on him - but what I do know is this:
Bradley Cooper (he needs no introduction, for reasons already known; his beautiful body goes to the top of the list, though) and Harvey Weinstein (massive in film, co-founder of Miramax, yadda yadda yadda) approached Barns Courtney to put his new song Fire into the trailer for new film Burnt, which will boost his career so far into the limelight that there's no way Barns Courtney would ever bounce back to the unknown.
What's really funny - and maybe slightly annoying on my behalf - is that I randomly stumbled upon Barns Courtney's Soundcloud a couple of days ago, did the usual further research into his social media and discovered all of this information about his newest song, Fire, being used for the film... and now, here I am, doing what I do best. Blogging.
At the moment, there's only one song available to listen to on Barns Courtney's Soundcloud, which is called Glitter & Gold (below).
I can definitely see why Barns Courtney was approached for this film. This song alone is very powerful - cinematic, even - and he has a voice that is very raw and rare in the music industry.... And there was Barns Courtney thinking his music career was over before all this happened. I think it's only just beginning, love.

Message to Barns Courtney: well done, good luck and enjoy the success that is coming your way.
Message to everyone else: enjoy the music.
