About

Well hello there, handsome. My name is Rosie (for those of you that haven't already seen my name plastered on every form of social media possible, hi) and I am the owner of this music blog, Liquid Entertainment Online, otherwise known as (mainly by myself) LEO. I'm a fan of abbreviations, puns, metaphors and everything in between - so just excuse me when I suddenly go off on a tangent (which is something I did a lot at primary school, secondary school and university... yeah, you get the picture) it happens in nearly every other sentence. I think it may be an illness, but you can never be too sure of these things nowadays, what with NHS-self-diagnose-yourself-until-you-literally-die websites suggested on every other Google search suggestion. I'm rambling again. Sorry.

Anyway! Goodness. Well, first and foremost I think a hearty warm welcome to Liquid is where I start with the "about" section. This blog was established to create a community for people all over the world that love to discover new, up and coming musicians - be it soloists, bands or those that have previously been around in the music industry but are hitting the forefronts of our ear buds again - so welcome. Welcome to you and your liquid.

The latter sentence probably makes absolutely no sense to you right now, so let me explain. It will also help to tell you where the name for this music blog originated. Or how it originated, should I say. So, the idea behind the name Liquid Entertainment Online derived from the thought that we (basically meaning me, Rosie - hi, again) bring you new music entertainment whilst you, in a very nonchalant manner, sip whatever form of liquid you prefer to be in your mug, cocktail glass or flute at the given time. It's simple, really, but probably a concept that needs explaining in order for it to be understood. I'm also a LEO, so I guess that worked out quite well. It was unplanned, I promise. The blog aims to be very laid back, casual - if you will - at all times. There's bound to be a bit of seriousness, but only when the lyrics are deep and meaningful.

I'd love for you to get in contact via email (or Facebook) to say hi. Even more so if you're an up and coming musician or know someone that is trying to get out there. I love to support unsigned musicians wherever possible. Plus I'm one of the nice ones. No email prioritisation. No unresponsiveness. I email back everyone - and with an honest answer, too! It may take me a while to get back to you, but that's because I have a lot of other things going on, but I guarantee you I will respond at some point.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you soon in the comments boxes, on Facebook or via email. The choice is yours.
