Prepare for seriously cool photography - and music - to come your way because, once you’ve been introduced to The Mispers, I must warn that there’s no going back (providing you love a bit of Alternative rock with a few sporadic musical twists) because you have found them. So are you going to read on?
The term “misper” is a police term for a missing person, which supports their want to break free of any social norms, be themselves and get lost - or go missing, if you want to be literal about it - but, in more of a marketing way, it has allowed the band to build up on their image and create a unique atmosphere at shows. For those “in the know” on the band, they will already be able to tell you that signs reading “I Found The Mispers” flutter around, become photographed with audience members and become a souvenir to the time they went to that gig.

Also an other little gimmick taken from the shows is a doctor/lab coat type gas mask protection thing (wishing I knew the correct terminology) that has been graffitied with Mispers on the front and worn by fans and band members (wanting to be photographed quite badly, actually). All i’m saying is that these make excellent punk-y profile pictures.

I realise I’ve become rather obsessed about the photography (but that’s normal for a granddaughter to a professional photographer, right?) and haven’t really spoken much about the band. So, the London based band compromises of (i’ll cover the J’s first...) Jack, Joey, Jordan, (and breathe) Hannah and Diego who are a bunch of individuals that have come together to produce some seriously cool music that I can imagine on Made In Chelsea, a Hollywood blockbuster film and even on your iPod. Their music is versatile with evident mixed influences from song to song. Their song Dark Bits, which can be heard on their Dark Bits EP has a major country influence to it, which sits underneath a rock overtone, but their song Coasts has more of an orchestral, acoustic, mellow vibe with not-so-heavy rock influences. This band knows what they’re doing. They have an image and a loyal following (which I am now apart of) and have supported the likes of Kodaline and Hudson Taylor. These guys (and girl) are going onto big things.
P.s i’m juuussst going to add in a few more photos (sorry, not sorry).

Okay, so i’ve added in all the photos now (promise) and have listened to a lot of their songs in order to make a selection of their songs (there’s a few too many to include them all) for you to listen to on my blog. If you want to listen to more of their music, click the Soundcloud link below but, for now, enjoy!
