JUCELOVE | JUCE

These London girls are so juicy and I think i’ve been juced. I think this is love, but who doesn’t fall in love with girls that bring bags of fresh soul to the buds of your ears? Even better when it comes with a side order of electro-pop.

The trio consists of three Londoners that go by the name of Georgia, Cherish and Chalin, who are all clearly missing the grunge that the 90s so lovingly thrusted upon the fashion and music industries. Their ponytails are high, the shorts are shorter than the shortest short short (well that wasn’t a tongue twister, at all) and the photographs are the epitome of what your mother secretly wanted her photo album of your childhood to look like. Sorry I was never as cool as these girls, mum. I tried but failed a rather dramatically. See below to gage what I mean...

Maybe the tartan worked. Maybe it didn’t too; but aside from that, I clearly got nuttin’ to give. These photos are painful to look back on. Let’s carry on talking music.

JUCE have been busy ladies. Busy ladies, indeed. They have just finished working on a 2 side 7″ single with Speedywunderground - a label that practices what it says on the tin. They record and produce all singles within 24 hours to escape that faff-factor element that often comes along with producing a single, so yeah, pretty speedy. Even better when their single Braindead is perfect - and the B side pretty nifty too. The single is due for release on April 7th, 2015. Listen to it below in the Introducing: Juce playlist!

The JUCE girls are currently galavanting around Texas playing the SXSW festival. I’m not jealous that they’re in Texas, at all. I just really want to watch them live.

P.s I am LOVING Burning Up. I can imagine everyone going crazy for that at a gig in London.

The girls’ social media outlets:

Enjoy. I know I will!
