Now here's something you're going to love; I didn't discover Bela Chase through my predictable let's-go-crazy-on-Soundcloud ways of searching. I can sense that you're shocked by this fact (me too, honestly) but I actually happened to stumble upon Bela whilst scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed. Turns out Facebook Advertising works better than I thought.
Bela Chase is an electro pop singer/songwriter all the way from the shores of Newcastle, Australia. After spending some time in London cutting her teeth on the indie pop scene with band Bela Takes Chase, Bela has returned home to combine her love of electro pop with her love of producing and writing. Within her music, she layers her soft and delicate vocals (complete with stunning harmonies) to her talented songwriting and dreamy synths and beats to create a catalogue of lush electronic pop that will literally be music to your ears. Sorry for the pun. Actually, no. I'm not sorry whatsoever.
Her Debut EP, Velocity Raptor, is set for release on October 14th 2016 and was produced by Jack Prest of Studio 301. The title track of the EP, Space Kicks, delivers dream like sounds with mystical vocals. You can listen to the single below, which is out for release October 7th.
