I have a secret to let you in on, and they are a Danish duo that go by the name of Furns. They have been on my radar for some time now, but I think it is time that I share them with the world. Or the small population of the world that stop by Liquid Entertainment Online, anyway.
Monika & Mathias, who make up Furns, really are destined for great things. Their music is, quite simply, beautiful. Peaceful. Soulful... All the fulls. They have created the kind of music you want to be listening to on a 24/7 basis, which is saying quite a lot when a song can become too much once it's been listened to one too many times. All I'm saying is Cascada's Everytime We Touch. You see what I mean now? Am I right or am I right? Furns are funk, electronic, dance. They are possibly musical masterminds. Geniuses, if you'd like me to go one step further. Heck, I'll go there anyway. They know what they're doing, and they're doing it very well. Prepare to Netflix and chill with Furns - except you won't be needing Netflix because you'll be there without the films.
I seriously love these two. I can't honestly choose a favourite song - I have two strong contenders though- but I'm just going to give you everything right now because that's what you deserve to hear. These two are also unsigned and without a manager. If I was at the point in my life where my record label was established, these would be the first band I would sign. Genuinely.
Now for my two favourites...
